Welcome to CANSPORTS Wellness & Therapy Ltd. By booking a class through our website, you acknowledge and agree that your participation is governed by the terms outlined below. Booking a class constitutes your automatic agreement to these waivers and policies.
1. Informed Consent and Liability Waiver
By attending our training, sessions, or classes (whether in-person or virtual), you agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk: You are fully aware of the risks and hazards connected with physical training, including potential injury to the neck, back, spine, or other body parts. You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risk of injury, harm, loss, or death sustained during training.
Health Responsibility: It is your responsibility to consult a physician and obtain consent before starting any training. You must fully disclose your medical history, including injuries, surgeries, and medications, to your instructor.
Release of Liability: You release and discharge CANSPORTS Wellness & Therapy Ltd, its instructors, and agents from all liability for claims, demands, or actions resulting from injury, damage, or death, including those caused by negligence.
Equipment and Facilities: You are responsible for inspecting equipment before use and notifying staff of any safety concerns.
Physical Contact: You acknowledge that instruction may involve physical touch to aid in exercise understanding; you must inform the trainer immediately if you are uncomfortable.

2. Model Release and Media Consent
For promotional and marketing purposes, you agree to the following regarding photographs and video:
Authorization: You authorize the use of any photographs or video taken during sessions for promotion, advertising, and general marketing.
Ownership: All rights to these recordings belong to the company in perpetuity, and they may be used without compensation for an unlimited time.
Liability Release: You release the company from any liability related to the use of these images, including claims of invasion of privacy.

3. Privacy Policy and Marketing
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information:
Information Collection: We collect your information for the purposes of managing your bookings and for general marketing and promotional purposes.
No Third-Party Sharing: Your personal information will not be released or shared with third parties without your explicit permission.
Virtual Sessions: Be aware that online sessions may be recorded or observed by other participants. If you are uncomfortable with being recorded, you must notify the instructor immediately.
4. Minors
If the participant is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must grant consent and authorize these agreements on the minor’s behalf.
