Theresa Le Sliworsky

About Theresa
Theresa Le Sliworsky is a mother of two, wife, and founder of CanSports and Co-founder of F.R.E.S.H Retreat, a women’s health retreat centre in Bali. Theresa believes in empowering her clients with the tools to achieve their fitness goals, and to make training fun. She specializes in helping those over 40 with age-related issues and working with athletes to get their game back after injury.
A former weightlifter, swimmer, triathlete, and runner, health and fitness is Theresa’s passion. Theresa spent 30 years working in various stages of the health, food and fitness industry in Canada, Japan and Singapore. From food inspection, quality control, lobbyist, food design, food development, marketing and branding, to being a TV chef, cooking instructor, and running her own catering company and food business, Genki Bar Foods Inc, where she developed and manufactured lentils based foods for athletes, Theresa is a seasoned expert in her field.
Over the years Theresa has worked with Olympic athletes, professional athletes, high-performance triathlon teams, swim teams, kinesiologists, food scientists, dietitians, coaches, and trainers. All of these experiences developed her extensive understanding and appreciation of the important and intricate relationship between nutrition and training.
Qualifications
Theresa is an experienced coach in the areas of nutrition, weight management, and overall lifestyle modification. She is also an expert rehabilitation movement therapist, Master Functional trainer, Body Harmonics Pilates Instructor trainer, as well as a Fitgenes and AWL practitioner.

About Cindy
Dr. Cindy Le is a dedicated Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner and acupuncturist with over a decade of experience helping women and men manage pain, navigate menopause, recover from injuries, and address a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
A proud mom of two curious boys, Cindy understands how busy life can be. She completed her four-year TCM program along with a clinical practicum at the esteemed China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing. Since then, she has continued her education through numerous advanced courses, deepening her knowledge in areas such as pain management, women’s health, digestive health, pediatrics, and nutrition.
Cindy takes a compassionate, individualized approach to care, understanding that every body responds differently. She tailors her treatments using a variety of acupuncture and TCM techniques to meet each client’s unique needs and concerns.
When she’s not in the clinic, Cindy enjoys experimenting with new recipes, spending time outdoors, and occasionally taking to the air in an aerial yoga class—mostly for the fun and laughter it brings.

Dr. Denise Black
Gynecologist – MD, FRCSC
Dr. Black completed medical school and a post-graduate residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Over the last 30+ years, she has worked as a clinician both in the private practice setting and in academia. While in the University setting, she served as program director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program, and served as an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Black is active in many national and international organizations, and has published in peer reviewed journals. She is an acclaimed and sought-after speaker, both in Canada and abroad. She has been involved in the creation and development of many accredited and non-accredited CME programs in the fields of contraception, menopause, and HPV prevention.
Her true passion is menopause, and in empowering women through education and advocacy. Knowledge is power, and empowerment begins with education. Empowered women become advocates, and this benefits everyone.
Personal interests include reading, cooking, and chasing after a blended family of eight grandchildren under the age of 10.

Hayden Rhodes is a highly accomplished and experienced high-performance coach and mindfulness expert. He is also the creator M.E.D.S a mindfulness mastery program. He has an extensive background in holistic wellness and coaching, with over 25 years of experience, he has worked with a diverse range of clients, including corporate professionals, celebrity clientele and professional athletes.
