As the year comes to a close, I find myself pausing — taking a moment to reflect on what this past year has brought.
This time of year always brings me back to the same question: Why do I do what I do? Like any role we carry in life, there have been good days and hard days. Days that feel aligned and energizing, and days that leave you tired or questioning yourself. And wearing many hats — as a mother, a wife, and a business owner — not every day is easy.
There are countless paths one could take. Easier routes. More predictable choices. Paths that promise greater financial reward. But the reason I continue in this work remains simple: service.
I genuinely love what I do. I love helping people move better, feel better, and trust their bodies again. Providing that support — through change, recovery, or growth — is what grounds me, especially during life’s more challenging moments.
Over the year, I’ve received messages thanking me for the impact, big or small, on someone’s life. Sometimes it’s something simple: wiggling toes for the first time in years, getting up off the floor without fear, walking down stairs with confidence, returning to sport, or simply moving without pain. These moments may seem small, but they matter deeply.
As we approach a new year — with new goals, intentions, and expectations — I hope this is a reminder to acknowledge the small achievements along the way. Progress doesn’t always come from big, dramatic changes. Often, it’s built quietly through consistent effort: moving better, feeling stronger, eating more intentionally, or simply listening to your body more closely.
On days when doubt creeps in, these are the messages I return to. They remind me that this work matters — and that trust, once given, is something to be honoured.
As we close out this year, I want to say thank you.
Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey in health, movement, and recovery.
Your trust is never taken lightly.
I am deeply grateful for every client, every story, and every step we’ve taken together toward moving better and living better.
Wishing you health, peace, and warmth as you step into the year ahead!.
